Mary G. Miller, 96, of Goshen, died Saturday morning, March 24, 2007, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born on December 2, 1910, in West Liberty, Ohio, to Harry and Ella (Burkhart) Roth. She married Perry G. Miller on November 6, 1932 in Goshen. He died August 28, 2004. A homemaker, Mrs. Miller lived in Goshen all of her life except for the years between 1962 and 1985, at which time she and her husband lived in Mississippi. She was known for her baking and cooking. She was a member of the Cornerstone Mennonite Church and the College Mennonite Church. She volunteered in several places including Heifer Project in Arkansas, Hesston College in Kansas and Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart. Mrs. Miller is survived by a daughter, Sue (Joe) Graham of Bailey, Colorado; two sons; Thomas (Joyce) Miller of Middlebury and Roger (Dawn) Miller of Goshen; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry G. Miller; two sisters, Mabel Kanagy and Dula Hershberger; and three brothers, Dwight, Isaac and Mark Roth. Friends will be received 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in the Koinania Room at College Mennonite Church, Goshen. A 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2007, memorial service will be held in the Koinonia Room. Rev. Klaudia Smucker of the College Mennonite Church and Rev. Ron Kennel of the Clinton Brick Mennonite Church will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Lake Camp in Meridian, Mississippi.
