Mary Louise France

Mary Louise France, 92, of Goshen, died Saturday morning, June 28, 2008, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been the past six weeks. She was born in Millersburg, Indiana, on September 25, 1915 to Stanley and Pearl (Bollinger) Long.  She married Jerry France on April 26, 1941 in Camden, Indiana.  He preceded her in death on May 30, 1979. A lifelong resident of the area, Mrs. France worked for Stanley Long Grocery Store in Millersburg and Fairfield High School, retiring in 1981 as matron.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Millersburg. She is survived by a sister, Lucille Robinson of Goshen; two nephews, Michael (Shan) Robinson of Elkhart, and Kent Robinson of Goshen; and two great-nephews, Blake and Brett Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 30, at the funeral home. A 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Bert Pauluhn of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Millersburg, will officiate. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Millersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
