Mary Elizabeth Davis

Mary Elizabeth Davis, 99, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 14, 2013, at Courtyard Healthcare where she had been since March 10. She was born March 8, 1914 in Syracuse to John and Jane (Hann) Hurtig. She is survived by two daughters, Betty Kidd and Shirley Blosser Hall and a son, Lowell Gene (Gail) Davis, all of Goshen; ten grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren and a nephew, John (Delores) Jones of Goshen. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Jones and Edna Neff. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Davis was a member of LifePoint Church, Goshen. Friends may call 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. The family will leave at 11 a.m. to go in procession to West Goshen Cemetery for a graveside service. Pastor Troy Scott will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to LifePoint Church.
