Mary L. Bainter

Mary L. Bainter, 86, of Goshen died Tuesday morning, April 18, 2017 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.

She was born February 1, 1931 in Goshen to Oscar and Vera (Sheets) Kalb.

On July 16, 1949 she married Chester R. Bainter in Goshen.  He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Steve) Franks of Goshen; two sons, Gary (Zonea) Bainter of Bristol and Ronald Bainter of Middlebury; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mabel “Betty” Kalb of Bristol.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Chrisman and a brother, John Kalb.

Mary was a loving homemaker and Avon representative for more than 20 years.

Friends may call Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home followed by a memorial service beginning at 4 p.m.

According to her wishes, Mary’s body will be cremated.  Burial in Violett Cemetery will take place at a later time.
