Marvin Samuel Musser

March 26, 1936 — January 28, 2017

Marvin S. Musser, 80, of Goshen, passed away early Saturday morning, January 28, 2017 at Elkhart Hospice House.

He was born March 26, 1936 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Noah and Ethel (Gassman) Musser.

On June 29, 1962 he married Lore Buck in Stuttgart, Germany.  She died May 16, 2002.

Mr. Musser is survived by a daughter, Karen (Kenton) Miller of Goshen; a son, Hans (Rebecca) Musser of Vandalia, Michigan; seven grandchildren and a brother, Richard L. (Dorcus) Musser of Alice, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

A longtime Goshen resident, Mr. Musser was manager of the former Provident Book Store in Goshen.  He also worked at Metzler Shoes in Nappanee and as a shuttle driver for Goshen Hospital.

He was a member of College Mennonite Church.

Friends may call Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Koinonia Room at College Mennonite Church.  A 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 3, memorial service will be held at College Mennonite Church.

A private family burial will take place at Violett Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
