Marvin L. Bachman

Marvin L. Bachman, 68, of Elkhart, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born one of 14 children on March 22, 1951 in Auburn, California to James F. and Emma (Woodruff) Bachman.

Mr. Bachman is survived by a daughter, Misty (Thomas) Seabolt of Goshen and a son, Sean (Amy) Bachman of Elkhart; four grandchildren, Breanna Arroyo, Caleigh Bachman, Sean Jr. Bachman and Johnathan Bachman; five siblings, Robert and Luther Bachman, Helen Kelsey Bachman, Evelyn Batts Bachman and Margret Bath Bachman; 21 nieces and 16 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.

Mr. Bachman served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded a sharp shooting medal.  He worked as a tool crib supervisor for Utilimaster.   He was a simple man, simply laid to rest.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.  No services are planned at this time.
