Martin D. Pschigoda, 85, of Goshen, died Wednesday afternoon, November 26, at his home. Martin was born July 20, 1929 in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Mildred (Quade) and Daniel Pschigoda. He graduated in 1947 from St. Joseph High School and South Bend College of Commerce in 1949. He served in the US Army during the Korean Crisis. Returning from the military, Martin graduated from Ferris Institute (State University) with a BS in accounting in 1955 and Michigan State University with a MA in Business Administration in 1960. Additional credits were earned from the University of Michigan, Indiana University and Michigan State University. Martin had worked as an accountant in industry. He retired in 1986 from Berrien County Intermediate School District (Regional Education Service Agency.) He is survived by two sisters, Clara M. Motts, Goshen and Loraine M. Pschigoda, Portage, Michigan. In addition to his parents, Martin was preceded by a nephew, Roy N. Motts and his brother-in-law, Norman E. Motts. Per Martin's wishes, cremation will take place. Visitation will be Thursday, one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. memorial service at The Meetinghouse, Greencroft, Goshen. Pastoral Assistant Pamela Kling will officiate. A private family graveside service will take place in the spring at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma, Michigan. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph First United Methodist Church, 2950 Lakeview Ave., St. Joseph, Mich. 49085, where he was a member or Southern Care Hospice, 310 W. McKinley Ste. 340, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
