Martha J. Bloss

Martha J. Bloss, 86, of Goshen,  passed away Wednesday November 17, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.

She was born November 7, 1935, in Goshen to Martin “Mike” and Dorotha J. (Myers) Haney.

On November 26, 1954, she married William “Bill” Bloss.  He died May 9, 2012.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann (Denny) Glasgow of Simpsonville, North Carolina and Marcia Lynn (George) Christner of Goshen; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Haney.

An active member of the Goshen community, Martha volunteered with Campfire, Goshen Jayshees, Women’s Club of Goshen and the Goshen Hospital Auxiliary.  Martha was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Goshen.

She worked alongside her husband, Bill, at Bloss Monuments.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Faith Lutheran Church, 202 Greene Road, Goshen.  Pastor Jessica King will officiate.

Burial will follow in Benton Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Faith Lutheran Church or Goshen Hospital Foundation for the Cancer Center.
