Marshall R. Cripe

Marshall R. Cripe, 93, of Goshen, died early Friday afternoon, October 30, 2009, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. He was born in Elkhart County on October 19, 1916, to Walter and Florence (Eby) Cripe.  He married Agnes L. Koher on December 25, 1941.  She preceded him in death. A lifetime resident of the area, Mr. Cripe was a farmer and drove truck for Farm Bureau Co-Op. He is survived by two daughters, Marsha Cripe of South Bend and Sharol Cripe of Englewood, Florida; four sons, Gerald Cripe, Carl Cripe and Harold (Pat) Cripe, all of Goshen, and Royce (Tammy) Cripe of Center Hill, Florida; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Farrell (Frances) Cripe of Goshen. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Cripe and three brothers, Theodore, Mentzer and Stanford Cripe. There will be no visitation or services.  Following cremation burial will be at a later date in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
