Marlon D. Yoder, 63, of Granger, died Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at his home.

He was born September 3, 1958 in Goshen to Melvin and Mattie (Miller) Yoder.

On August 24, 1985 he married Bonnie F. Siebert at Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.

She survives along with five children, Emily (Jared) Accoe of New Paris, Jacob Yoder of Elkhart, Keela Yoder and Lauren Yoder, both of Granger, and Olivia (James) Bradberry of Elkhart; six grandchildren, Hayden Yoder, Grayson Accoe, Anya Hemminger, Ashlyn Martin, Quevin Hood and Atticus Brown; a sister, Marilyn Marchand of Elkhart; and a brother, Doug (Vicki) Yoder of Goshen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Johnathon and Andrew Yoder.

Mr. Yoder worked in the building services department for the University of Notre Dame since 2008, where he enjoyed attending Notre Dame basketball games. He also enjoyed camping, cycling, and his dogs.

Marlon was very active in his children’s activities, supporting them however he could. He also coached for the Michiana Echo Soccer program. He was talented in many areas, including building trades, remodeling and car maintenance.

Private services will take place.
