Marlene E. Landaw, 89, of Goshen, died Wednesday March 3, 2021, at Greencroft Assisted Living.

She was born November 30, 1931, in Nappanee, to Forrest and Elsa (Rassi) Scheets. She graduated from Napannee High School in 1949 and attended Bethel College, Mishawaka where she met her late husband, Kenneth Theron Landaw. He died in 1999. They were longtime Goshen residents and attended Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.

Marlene was a musician and an artist, winning awards at several juried Art Shows. She also enjoyed photography and worked at the Goshen Public Library for several years.

Marlene is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Timothy) Dolen of Fort Collins, Colorado, her sons, Eric (Christine) Landaw of Middlebury and Evan (Suzanne) Landaw of Asheville, North Carolina; a brother Robert Sheets of Milford; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Ashley) Petersohn of Fort Collins, Colorado, Miles (Carmella) Landaw of Omaha, Nebraska, and Elizabeth Landaw of Merryville, Washington, and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be at Yoder Culp Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm.  Online condolences may be shared  at www.yoderculpfuneralhome.com and a livestream link will be available on Marlene’s page the day of the service.
