Marlene M. Eldridge, 87, of Goshen died Monday, March 29, 2021 at her home following a five-year struggle with dementia.
She was born March 30, 1933 in Goshen.
On June 27, 1953 she married Charles R. Eldridge in Goshen. He died Aug. 20, 1998.
Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca (William) Allen, Medina, Ohio; a son, Mark (Xiumin) Eldridge, Goshen; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gayle Graff, Lillian, Alabama.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Harold Juday; her mother, Treva W. (Conrad) Juday Miller; a son Bradley Eldridge; and a sister, Sandra Jackson.
A 1951 graduate of Goshen High School, Mrs. Eldridge was a former co-owner of Modern Masonry. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and also a former member of Maplecrest Country Club. Along with golf, she enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles.
A private graveside service will be conducted Friday, April 2, at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
