Marla L. Stafford, 66, of Goshen died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at IU Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born February 22, 1950 in Wabash to William F. and Rosemary (Barnes) Walton.
On November 22, 1969 she married Virgil R. Stafford at Goshen City Church of the Brethren. He died May 11, 2010.
Survivors include her father, William of Goshen; three sons, John Stafford and Fred Stafford, both of Goshen and Josh Stafford of Elkhart; and two sisters, Janet (Steven) Bolock of Syracuse and Susan (Scott Pierce) Rader of Goshen.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemary, and a brother, William Walton, Jr.
Mrs. Stafford was a homemaker and known for her baking skills. She was an avid sports fan, following the I.U. basketball team and the NY Yankees. She was especially fond of her dogs and treated them like family.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 1 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 funeral will be conducted. Pastor Mike Silliman of Grace Community Church will officiate.
Cremation will follow the service and burial will be in Violett Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be directed to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
