Mark S. Dinkel

Mark S. Dinkel, 52, of Middlebury, died at his home on Thursday, December 18, 2008. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on November 20, 1956, to William and Irene (Geiger) Dinkel.  He married Sharon Hershberger in 1996 on Goshen.  She survives. A 1975 graduate of Concordia High School in Fort Wayne, Mr. Dinkel worked at Elkhart Brass for seven years in maintenance and as a machinist.  He enjoyed the Chicago Blackhawks. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Markayla E. Dinkel at home, and Micah Wegner-Dinkel of Franklin, Indiana; a step-daughter, Michelle Mullins of Goshen; two step-granddaughters, Savannah and Sahara Mullins, both of Goshen; and two brothers, Thomas and James Dinkel, both of Fort Wayne. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, December 22, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor David Powell of His Place Worship Center will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Bristol. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
