Mark Alan McCloud, age 76, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at his home in Bristol, Indiana.

He was born on July 27, 1950, in Lafayette, Indiana, to the late Harold and Clara (Hague) McCloud.

Mark graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School with the Class of 1968 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Purdue University. He had a fulfilling career serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Goshen Hospital, a job he truly enjoyed.

Outside of his professional life, Mark loved spending time on the lake and being on the water, as well as golfing. He had lived in the local area for the past 15 to 20 years and was a member of the American Legion.

Mark is survived by his two sons: Eric McCloud of New Paris, Indiana, and Mathew McCloud of Bristol, Indiana; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his sister, Margo Zidar of Lafayette, Indiana, and his brother, Roger (Deb) McCloud of Indianapolis, Indiana.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold McCloud.

According to Mark’s wishes, cremation will take place.
