Marjorie E. Hollinger, 91, of Goshen, died Tuesday afternoon, February 20, 2007, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. She was born in North Manchester, Indiana, on April 2, 1915, to Melvin and Blanche (Grossnickle) Heeter. She married Byron E. Hollinger on February 11, 1939 in North Manchester in the Peabody Chapel. He survives. A homemaker, Mrs. Hollinger, is a graduate of North Manchester High School and a member of the First Methodist Church in Springfield, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Byron; three daughters, Ann (Larry) Fourman of Nappanee, Indiana, Janet (Bruce) Strine of Union Bridge, Maryland and Rebecca (James) Horne of San Carlos, California; three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Craig; and a son, Kent Hollinger in 1976. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2007, at the Union Center Church of the Brethren. Pastor Ruth Yoder of the Plymouth Church of the Brethren will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester. Memorial contributions may be made to Heifer Project International.
