Marion Garber, 85, of Goshen, died Monday, February 4, 2019, at The Maples Healthcare at Waterford Crossing.
He was born February 28, 1933 in Goshen to Earl and Bertha (Kaufman) Garber.
On June 29, 1952 he married Phyllis Ramer. She died August 20, 1997. On October 30, 1998 he married Florence (Martin) Mullet.
She survives along with four children, Gary (Barb) Garber of New Paris, Chuck (Mary) Garber of Hamilton, Montana, Pam (Keith) Hooley of LaGrange and Greg (Charlene) Garber of Winona Lake; two step-children, Wanda (Jerry) Donahue of Rensselaer and Jamie (Jackie) Mullet of New Paris; 12 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Garber and siblings, Maurice, Robert and Lamar Garber, Betty Betzelberger and Donnabelle Hoover.
Marion will be remembered as a wonderful father and husband. For the past nine years he had been attending Sugar Grove Church.
The owner and operator of Garber Electric, Mr. Garber was very involved in Men for Missions International, serving on the board and participating in many mission trips.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. An 11 a.m., Thursday, February 7, memorial service will be conducted at Sugar Grove Church. Nephew Pastor Craig Garber will officiate.
A private family graveside service will be conducted at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
