Marilyn Joan Neterer, 84, of Goshen, died Saturday, February 9, 2019, at The Maples at Waterford Circle Healthcare.
She was born November 20, 1934 in Goshen to Orlin and Lavera (Kauffman) Hartman.
Survivors include eight children, Dawn (Roger) Miller of Goshen, Kelly (Tim) Growcock of Syracuse, Leslie Passwater of New Paris, Robin (Lon) Mascarenas of Milford, Michele (Rusty) Knisley of South Bend, Rick (Suellen) Hawks of Edwardsburg, Michigan, Scott (Sandra) Hawks of Warsaw and Tracy (Cheryl Scherer) Neterer of Goshen; 32 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Willodean (Gordon) Bates of Goshen.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Randall Passwater and two daughters-in-law, Wanda Lynn Neterer and Cheryl Hawks.
A former member of New Paris Church of the Brethren, Mrs. Neterer retired from Johnson Control after 30 years of employment.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 14, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Tyler will officiate.
Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Cancer Resources for Elkhart County.
