Marilyn M. Kintigh, 78, of Goshen, died in her home on Saturday morning, December 17, 2005, after a six month struggle with lung cancer. She was born October 28, 1927, in Fremont, Nebraska, to William J. and Meta M. (Hartung) Lesher. On July 19, 1974, in Goshen, she married Thomas D. Kintigh. He survives. Mrs. Kintigh lived in the area since 1949, coming from Orange County, California. She retired as a realtor in 1990 from Coldwell Banker and had previously worked for Bill Long & Associates Century 21, Goshen. She had also owned and operated Country Charm Beauty Salon, and had worked for Jan’s House of Beauty and Muff’s Beauty Shop, both of Elkhart. She is survived by her husband, Tom; two daughters, Linda S. Halderman of Gordon, South Dakota and Kathy (Larry) Krazit of Elkhart, Indiana; a step-daughter, Lee Ann (Todd) Cripe of Goshen; and two step-sons, Patrick T. (Trisha) Kintigh of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Daniel R. (Kay) Kintigh of Bristol, Indiana. Also surviving are two grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Lesher. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10:00 a.m. memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2005, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Alan Griffin of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen will officiate. Burial will be at a later date at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Care at Home Hospice, Goshen General Hospital.
