Marilyn Johnston

Marilyn Johnston, 69, of Goshen, died Friday, April 19, 2024 at Goshen Hospital.

She was born August 26, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia to Clarence L. and Willie Marie (Stanley) Hern.

She is survived by a daughter, Christie (Michael) Osborne, Goshen; a son, Steven Huffman, Goshen; three grandchildren, Cody Osborne, Maiah and Mackenze Huffman; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thressa Green, Goshen and Marcella Back, Bristol; a sister-in-law, Lois Hern, Syracuse; and a brother-in-law, Bob Price, Goshen.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Etta J. Price; a brother, Clarence Hern, Jr.; a grandson, Hunter Osborne; and a brother-in-law, Dallas Back.

Marilyn worked at Masterbrand Cabinets formerly Homecrest for 20 years, she then worked for Walmart for 25 years. She enjoyed sewing and family gatherings.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Ron and Kim Frost will officiate.

Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.

Following the burial a meal will be held for family and friends at the Goshen D.A.V.
