Marilyn M. Hay, 89, of Goshen died Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Goshen Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born September 24, 1936, in Rochester, New York to Raymond T. and Beatrice (Peck) Maston.
On September 4, 1975, she married George W. Hay III. He died October 21, 2014.
Surviving is a daughter, Lisa (Robert Galloway) Miller of Goshen; a son, Thomas Kortie of Indianapolis, a stepson, Matt (Debbie) Hay of Chandler, Arizona; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband George, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Mark S. Hay.
Marilyn graduated from Marjorie Webster Junior College, Washington D.C. and worked at the Walter Reed Veteran’s Hospital prior to coming to Indiana. She worked locally for Salem Insurance Agency for 15 years.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Goshen and past member of Maplecrest Country Club, Tri-Kappa Sorority, and Goshen Library Club.
Marilyn stayed active playing golf and was an avid bowler in several leagues at Maple City Bowl.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
A 10 a.m. funeral service will be conducted, Saturday, February 28, 2026, also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
