Marietta “Mardi” W. Lambdin, 61, of Goshen, died Monday, April 27, 2026.
She was born September 30, 1964, in LaGrange to William and Lettie (Eash) Bontrager. On October 18, 1997, she married Timothy Lambdin in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Mardi is survived by her son, Jeremy Mullet of Goshen; her grandson, Elijah Mullet; her sisters, Arlene (David) Herschberger of Ligonier, Ada (Earnest) Yoder of Middlebury, Leanna (John) Yoder of Millersburg, and Vera (Harvey) Fry of Ligonier; and her brothers, Orla (Ruth) Bontrager of Shipshewana, Wilbur (Catrice) Bontrager of Huntsville, Arkansas, Vernon (Lorene) Bontrager of LaGrange, Mahlon (Wanita) Bontrager of Sears, Michigan, Mervin (Edith) Bontrager of Middlebury, Herman (Doris) Bontrager of Wawaka, and Marion Bontrager of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, Michael and Lyle Herschberger.
Mardi worked in several factories throughout her life, serving both in production and in office roles at Forest River and MasterBrand. She was baptized at Maple City Chapel on September 9, 2023. She enjoyed watching Reverend Alan Jackson on television, cooking, and crocheting. She was especially proud of her family and treasured the many photos she kept of them.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. One hour of visitation will also be held prior to the 1:00 p.m. funeral service on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the funeral home. Pastor Mel Shetler will officiate. Burial will follow at Solomon Creek Cemetery in Syracuse, Indiana.
