Marian E. VanFleeren, 95, of Goshen died Friday, March 5, 2021 at home.
She was born October 26, 1925 in Elkhart to Clarence and Marie (Merrifield) Brant.
On August 8, 1946 she married Evert VanFleeren in Goshen. He died March 15, 1993.
Survivors include seven children, Alice Moy of Goshen, Lois (Ronald) Willard of Millersburg, John (Patricia) VanFleeren of Middlebury, Clarence (Kim) VanFleeren of Florence, Arizona, Keith VanFleeren of Cromwell, Larry (Tina) VanFleeren of Rome, Georgia and Karon VanFleeren of Elkhart; son in law, Stan Peachey; 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters, Donna Troyer and Janice Peachey; son in law, Harry Moy; and daughter in law, Suzanne VanFleeren.
A life-long area resident, Mrs. VanFleeren attended Jefferson High School and was an active member of Zion Community Church, Millersburg and the Busy Homemakers Club. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed volunteering at The Window for 15 years.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Waterford Crossing Assisted Living for their excellent care and concern for Marian.
Visitation will be Friday, March 12, 2021 from 10 a.m. to noon at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where a 12 p.m. funeral service will be conducted. Pastor Jeff Lewis will officiate.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
