Maria Carrasco de Gonzalez, 88, passed away Thursday, July 28, at her home.

She was born Oct. 16, 1933, in Nocupetaro de Morelos, Michoacan, Mexico to Alfonso Carracso and Dominga Gonzalez.

Mrs. Carrasco is survived by her husband, Estorgio Gonzalez Jarillo, Mexico; five children, Mirna (Manuel Cortez) Gonzalez, Goshen, Jorge Gonzalez Carrasco, St. Louis, Missouri, Marcelo Gonzalez Carrasco, Arizona, Dalia Gonzalez Carrasco and Eustorgio Gonzalez, both of Goshen; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three siblings, Isabel, Jose and Irma Carrasco, all of Mexico and caregiver, Juventina de Leon of Goshen.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elida Gonzalez Carrasco.

A funeral mass will be celebrated, Tuesday, August 2, at 1 p.m. with a time of visitation starting at 12, noon, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen.

Following the funeral mass, Mrs. Carrasco will be transported to Mexico for services and burial.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
