Margaret Ann Steele

Margaret Ann Steele, 91, of Goshen, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born September 20, 1928 in Wabash County to Walter and Hazel (Wright) Stewart.

Margaret is survived by her daughters Cathy J. (James) Wray of Goshen, and Bobbie A. (Ronald) Denney of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Margaret was a longtime loan officer for NBD Bank in Goshen.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Goshen. She was also a former member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Maplecrest Country Club, and the Credit Women International. Margaret volunteered at Goshen Hospital and was a philomathean at heart.

There will be a graveside service Wednesday, September 23, at 1 p.m. at Violett Cemetery, Goshen. The family wishes that anyone attending the service to please wear a mask and to also observe social distancing.

Memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church.
