Margaret Ann Risden

Margaret Ann Risden, 72, of Goshen, died Tuesday afternoon, September 13, 2011, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born July 13, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Raymond and Ada (Cooper) Risden. She is survived by a sister, Nelda Risden of Goshen; a nephew, John M. (LuAnn) Risden and a great-niece, Ashley Risden, both of Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She was preceded in death by a brother, John R. Risden. A Goshen resident since 1972, Miss Risden worked at Mennonite Mutual Aid, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the Bethany Church of the Brethren and was interested in genealogy. Friends may call 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011, at The Meetinghouse at Greencroft where a 3 p.m. memorial service will be held. Pastor Tim Sollenberger Morphew, Bethany Church of the Brethren, and Greencroft Chaplain Dee Swartz will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Greencroft Foundation or Goshen Care at Home Hospice.
