Margaret Ann Paflas

Margaret A. Paflas, 94, of Goshen died Monday, August 6, 2018 at her daughter’s home.

She was born February 20, 1924 in Goshen to Oliver C. and Nelle (Smith) Hoke.

She is survived by two daughters, Ginger Miller and Shelly Simpson, both of Goshen, and two grandsons, Eric R. (Kristi) Wogomon and Thomas J. (Maria) Wogomon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Richard A. Simpson and Lamar C. Paflas; and siblings, Mildred Cornelius, John Hoke, Helen Throne, Gordon Hoke, Burdette “Beets” Hoke and Neva Vance.

A homemaker, she enjoyed gardening and feeding birds.

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory and burial will be in Violett Cemetery at a later date.
