Margaret A. Lantzer

Margaret Lantzer, 90, of Goshen, died Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

She was born April 24, 1933 in Goshen to George and Pearl (Hartsough) Schrock.

On February 5, 1953 she married John Roland Lantzer. He died November of 2012.

She is survived by three sons, Jeff S. (Sara) Lantzer, Goshen, Jack D. (Juanita) Lantzer, Wakarusa, and Jay S. (Melanie) Lantzer, Goshen; seven grandchildren, Missy (Jeff) Valderrama, Vanessa (Patrick) McConnell, Jason (Erin) Lantzer, Jennifer (Toby) Mishler, Justin (Deanna) Lantzer, A J (Tiffany) Lantzer, and Amanda (Marvell) Smith; 15 great-grandchildren, Laura and Evonne Valderrama, Halle and Gabe McConell, Katelyn and Nick Lantzer, Zoe and Kyla Mishler, Maisie and Matilda Lantzer, Jaylee, Jada and Jia Osborne, and Niyah and Nallah Smith; a brother, Jerry (Susan) Schrock, and two sisters-in-law, Lauretta Schrock and Sherry Showalter.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Calvin, Harold, Don and Joe Schrock.

Margaret was a member of Burr Oak Church, Ligonier and faithfully attended Grace Community Church, Goshen. She worked for Model Elementary School as the head cook and retired after 48 years of service. She loved to cook and enjoyed traditional scrapbooking to showcase her family.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2024 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with a funeral on Tuesday, January 9 at 10 a.m. also at the funeral home. Pastor Larry Byrnes will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
