Margaret Hartsough

Margaret Hartsough, 56, of South Bend died Thursday, November 17, at home on hospice after an extended illness.

She was born March 16, 1966, in Goshen to Larry W. and Virginia A. (Bixler) Hartsough.

They survive along with a sister, Patricia Sue (Mark) Wyant of Zionsville; and nieces, Skylar Wyant of Irvine, California, and Kristen (fiancé, Erik Batker) Wyant of Indianapolis.

Margaret was a 1984 graduate of Goshen High School and 1988 graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington. She also obtained her para legal degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She worked for Gibson Insurance for 22 years, specializing in employee benefits.

A private funeral service was held Tuesday, November 22, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Timothy T. Yoder officiated.

Burial was in Eden Cemetery, Topeka.

Margaret always enjoyed having animals in her life, especially her cats. To honor her memory, memorials should be directed to a pet rescue of the donor’s choice.
