Margaret Irene Bell

Margaret Irene Bell, 86, of Goshen, died early Friday morning, July 20, 2007, at Courtyard Health Care of Goshen. She was born in Madison County, Indiana, on May 18, 1921, to Jacob and Grace (Wineland) Pease.  She married Theodore R. Bell, Sr., on June 2, 1937, in Kosciusko County, Indiana.  He preceded her on December 27, 1966. Mrs. Bell was a homemaker and worked at the Proof Company and also at Goshen Rubber where she retired in 1983.  She was a life member of both the DAV Auxillary and the American Legion Auxillary.  She was an avid bingo and euchre player and she enjoyed gardening. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Charles) Wilson of Goshen; two sons, Dannie (Carol) Bell of Goshen and Theodore (Sherry) Bell, Jr. of Middlebury; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two sisters, Maxine (Bruce) Rogers of Milford, Indiana, and Geraldine (Chester) Gooch of Goshen; and four brothers, Bob (Lettie) Pease of Cambridge, Massachussetts, Bill Pease of Seneca, South Carolina, Jack (Judy) Pease of Elkhart, Indiana, and Tom (Shirley) Pease of Milford, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Franklin LeRoy and Harry Stanley Bell; and four sisters, Dorothy Haines, Patsy Smith, Lucille Tusing and Virginia Amsden. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 23, at the funeral home. A 12:30 p.m., funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 23, 2007, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Tim Yoder, licensed minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery, Syracuse. Memorial contributions may be made to Courtyard Health Care or Donor's Choice.
