Marcy R. Showalter

Marcy Showalter, 42, of Goshen, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Elkhart Hospice House.

She was born April 14, 1977 in Goshen.

On September 6, 1997 she married Andrew Showalter.

He survives along with two children, Dalton J. and Gretchen K., both at home; two sisters, Takesha (Jon) Stoll and Carla (Mike) Biro, and her mother and step-father, Irene and Terry Rassi, all of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard D. Miller.

A 1999 graduate of Butler University, Marcy was an active member of the Middlebury Church of the Brethren going on several mission trips to Puerto Rico.  She was also very active with Camp Mack as a counselor and assisting with camp physicals.

She worked for Beacon Health and Middlebury Family Physicians for more than 20 years as a Physician Assistant.

Visitation will be at Middlebury Church of the Brethren, Sunday, July 7, 2019, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Monday, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m., Celebration of Life service.  Burial will follow on a later date at West Goshen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Camp Mack, LAMB (Latin American Mission Board) or Heifer International.
