Marcia B. Cox

Marcia B. Cox, 90, of Goshen died Monday, January 16, 2023 at Majestic Care of Goshen.

She was born May 26, 1932 in Goshen to J.Mark and Bernice V. (Williams) Detweiler. They preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Ann Prough of Goshen, Debra (Ernie) Fried of Goshen, and Shari Kidwell of Niles, Michigan; a son, Michael Swihart of Syracuse; seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great- great grandchildren; a sister, Carol Detweiler of Goshen; and a brother, William (Rola) Detweiler of Thousand Oaks, California.

Marcia worked at Johnson Controls for 12 years in production. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching T.V. and drinking Pepsi. Marcia loved going to garage sales with her grandchildren. She was a collector of cookbooks and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

You could always find Marcia on the phone enjoying conversations as her way of staying connected to her community.

A private graveside service will take place at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
