Madeline L. Yoder 96, of Haines City, Florida, died Wednesday evening, March 20, 2013 at Haines City Health Care. She was born October 4, 1916 in Lafayette, Indiana, to Thornton and Edna (Mahorter) Workinger. On September 18, 1937 she married Donald L. Yoder in Attica, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1999. Mrs. Yoder is survived by two daughters, Patricia (David) Falk, of Waterloo, Ontario, Susan (Robert) McClew, of Winter Haven, Florida; and a son, James T. Yoder, of Noblesville, Indiana; nine grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven step-great grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. A 1937 graduate of Indiana University she was associated with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She owned and operated Yoder's Budget Shop in Goshen, Indiana, from 1953-1983, and was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority. She was a member at First Presbyterian Church, Winter Haven. Cremation has taken place. A 2:30 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013, memorial service will be conducted at First Presbyterian Church, Winter Haven, Florida. A reception will follow in McLeod Hall.
