Mabel M. Neterer

Mabel May Neterer, 97, of Goshen, died early Friday morning, June 3, 2011, at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen. She was born May 12, 1914 in Goshen to the late John Franklin and Cora Ellen (Shulmier) Ganger. On September 3, 1938 she married J. Paul Neterer in Goshen. He died October 23, 1991. Surviving are their children, Janet (Max) Paul and Dean (Marge) Neterer, both of Goshen; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Ganger and Edith Berkey. A lifetime resident of Goshen, she was a member of Goshen City Church of the Brethren. She retired in 1977, after 25 years, from Goshen Rubber. Friends may call 10 to noon, Monday, June 6, 2011, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. At noon there will be a procession to West Goshen Cemetery for a graveside service. Retired minister, Rev. Wayne Lawson of Goshen City Church of the Brethren will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Goshen City Church of the Brethren.
