M. Lynn Nisley

M. Lynn Nisley, 59, of Goshen, died at her home early Saturday morning, February 16, 2013. She had been ill since September 2012. She was born October 15, 1953 in Goshen to Harley S. and Louise E. (Phillips) Hostetler. On December 15, 1973 at Goshen City Church of the Brethren she married Bill Nisley. He survives along with three children, Todd (Holly) Nisley of Bedford, Cherie (Brandon) Marks of Hagerstown, Maryland, and Sara (Jim) Luebbert of Plainfield; five grandchildren, Kendall Nisley, Madeline and Lily Marks, and Brooklyn and Blake Luebbert; and a sister, Marsha (Doug) Lamb of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her parents. A lifetime Goshen resident, Lynn graduated from Goshen High School in 1972. She worked as a licensed insurance agent for First State Bank Insurance until retiring in 2009. She had also worked for John Jennings & Associates and First National Bank, Goshen. Friends may call Monday, February 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday, February 19, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2013, funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Waits, Rock Run Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Melanoma Research.
