M. Lorene Hostetler, 93, of Goshen, died Monday, May 16, 2022 at Goshen Hospital.
She was born September 4, 1928 in Millersburg to Daniel and Susie (Chupp) Eash.
On November 12, 1949 she married Loren R. Hostetler in Middlebury. He died January, 9, 2000.
Survivors include four children, Miriam Hostetler of Blackey, Kentucky, Martha (Jake) McCartney of Leon, West Virginia, Wayne Hostetler of Elkhart, and Mark Hostetler of Goshen; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and a sister, Vera Igou of Littleton, Colorado.
Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Kathleen Crawford, and Mabel Yoder; brothers, Ora and Orvin Eash; and a daughter-in-law, Pam Hostetler.
A life-long area resident, Mrs. Hostetler was a skilled seamstress. She retired from Gohn Brothers in Middlebury, where she made Amish clothing. She enjoyed quilting, jigsaw and word puzzles, and time with family.
Lorene was a member of LifePoint Church, Goshen, and a devout Christian.
Friends may call Friday, May 20, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
Burial will follow at Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.
