Lynda J. Scott

Lynda Jean Scott (Jahr) of Goshen passed away at the age of 91, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

She was born May 13, 1931, to Phidalus and Allen Jahr in Bay City, Michigan.

Lynda lived a long and fulfilling life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Lynda was active in her community, devoting years to supporting her local animal shelter and various gardening organizations. She had a true passion for beautifying, preserving, and enjoying the outdoors. Lynda spent much of her time educating herself on the world around her. Always interested in furthering her own knowledge, she would happily engage anyone in a conversation about events, current or past. She will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by her husband, Minard A. Scott, Jr. and son, Minard A. Scott III.

She is survived by her daughter Lozelle Anne (John) Fetter of Goshen; grandchildren Julianne (James) Fox of Naperville, Illinois, and Scott (Chelsea) Fetter of Jupiter, Florida and great-grandchildren, Regan Fox, Maeve Fox, Riley Fox, Luella Fetter, and Thatcher Fetter.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will take place at a later time for close friends and family.
