Lyle "Mac" Oiler                                                                                         Flowers? Lyle “Mac” Maxwell Oiler, 68, of New Castle, Virginia, died early Saturday morning, January 21, 2006, at the home of his brother in Elkhart.  He had been ill since November 1, 2005.   He was born September 3, 1937, in Montgomery, West Virginia, to Eunice (Bush) Oiler and the late Arnold Oiler.  On July 21, 1990, in Silver Springs, Florida he married Donna Grinstead.  She survives.   Mr. Oiler had lived in Virginia the past five years.  He had lived in Florida and Syracuse, Indiana prior to moving to Virginia.  A retired truck driver, he was a past member of the Roanoke, Virginia Moose Lodge.  He enjoyed hunting and was very mechanically minded.   He is survived by his wife, Donna; his mother, Eunice Oiler of New Castle, Virginia; a daughter, Benita (Joel) Geyer of Syracuse, Indiana; a son, Jim (Le) Oiler of Marshall, Michigan; and ten grandchildren.  Also surviving are six brothers, Frank (Iris) Oiler of Roanoke, Virginia, Harold Gene (Donna) Oiler of Pasadena, Texas, James “J.C.” (Earlene) Oiler, Joe (Linda) Oiler and Robert S. Oiler, all of New Castle, Virginia, and Donald Richard (Mary) Oiler of Elkhart; and two sisters, Roberta (Bob) Hackney of Charlestown, West Virginia and Patsy (Roger) Gibson of Raven, Virginia.   He was preceded in death by a son, Lyle Joseph Oiler in 1996.   Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, January 23, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   The funeral will be held at noon on Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at the funeral home.  Dr. Loren McCune of the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church, Syracuse, Indiana, will officiate.   Burial will be in Baintertown Cemtery, Goshen.
