Luise Heflin

Luise Heflin, 75, of Goshen, died Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born December 1, 1945 in Germany to Ukrainian natives, Petro and Anna Pniwczuk

At five years of age, Luise moved with her family to Goshen. On November 28, 1971 she married Dorris E. Heflin in Middlebury.

He survives along with three children, Stephanna (Greg) Faubion, Matthew (Shannan) Heflin, and Aylana (Beau) Trosper, all of Goshen; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Riedel of Minnesota.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Rogers.

Mrs. Heflin retired from R.B. Gustafson, Elkhart. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Luise enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and taking care of her flower garden.

According to her wishes, cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted, 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Pastor Jon Rauch, Grace Community Church, will officiate.
