Luella Mae Summer

Luella Mae Summer, 102, of Goshen, died Wednesday afternoon, January 11, 2012, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born December 26, 1909 in Manson, Iowa to Chris and Barbara (Zehr) Summer. She is survived by a sister, Ethel Summer of Goshen; a brother, Chris (Betty) Summer of Littleton, Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Milo, Milton and Dan Summer. A Goshen resident since 1962, Miss Summer worked at Goshen Case Company lining musical cases. She was a member of North Goshen Mennonite Church. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 14, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012, graveside will be conducted at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2012, at North Goshen Mennonite Church. Pastor June Alliman Yoder will officiate. Memorials may be made to Mennonite Central Committee.
