Lucy Ann Hostetler, 82, of Goshen, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at her home.

She was born December 20, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa to Aldine “Bill” and Wilma (Bender) Gingerich.

On August 19, 1958, she married Sanford Hostetler in Parnell, Iowa.

He survives along with three children, Nolan (Lori) Hostetler of Battle Ground, Washington, Bonnie (Lyle) Miller of Goshen and Joe Hostetler of Wellington, Colorado; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Lee (Julie) Gingerich and Frances (Gary) Nafziger, both of Wellman, Iowa, Linda (Dale) Miller of Kalona, Iowa and Twila (Ed) Miller of Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Burton Hostetler, and a sister, Brenda Stauffer.

Lucy most recently worked as a teller for Interra Credit Union at the Wakarusa branch.  She had also worked at Iowa Mennonite School, Miller’s Tax Service and Wellman Telephone Company, all in Iowa.

A loving mother, she attended Sugar Grove Church.  In Iowa, she was an active leader in their Sunday School and Bible School programs.

A public memorial service will be held Friday, January 22, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Sugar Grove Church.  The family requests all COVID 19 guidelines be followed.

Private graveside service will be at Sugar Grove Cemetery.
