Lucy M. Charlton

Lucy M. Charlton, 95, of Goshen, died Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born January 16, 1924 in Goshen to Glen and Ruby (Rohrer) Swihart.

On December 24, 1943 she married Warren A. Charlton in Goshen.  He died in 1997.

Survivors include two sons, John and Tim Charlton, both of Goshen; son-in-law, Bob Culp; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Cosby of Apache Junction, Arizona and brothers, Stephen Swihart, ofEugene, Oregon and Jack Swihart of San Francisco, California.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughters, Becky Guillian and Martha Culp and a son, Al Charlton.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mrs. Charlton was a member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church.

Visitation will be Monday, March 25, 2019, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m. Tuesday funeral service will be conducted.  Pastor Craig Garber will officiate.

Burial will follow in Rock Run Cemetery, Goshen.

Memorials may be given to Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church or Bethel College.
