Lucille Zane Wyman, 76, of Goshen, died Monday afternoon, March 2, 2009, at Elkhart General Hospital. She had been in failing health the past five years. She was born on August 26, 1932, in Ashland, Clay County, Alabama, to George W. and Demishia E. (Hill) Barksdale. She married Richard Charles Wyman on December 25, 1951. He died on May 25, 1992. A Goshen resident since 1992, Mrs. Wyman had worked as a manager of Rent-a-Space in Louisville, Kentucky before moving to Goshen and working at Mogul Rubber, JCPenney and Wilden Avenue Storage. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Spicher of Shipshewana; a son, Richard Charles Wyman, III of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren; and four great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband; twin daughters, Mary and Martha in 1958; a daughter-in-law, Pok ImChong-a in 2004; a sister, JoAnn Webbe in 2008; and a brother, Howard Barksdale in 1972. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 5, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2009, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Greencroft Chaplain Dee Swartz will officiate. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen.
