Lucille Helen Pyle

Lucille H. Pyle, 94, of Goshen, passed away Saturday evening, February 16, 2013, at I.U. Health Goshen Hospital. She was born August 11, 1918 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Herman and Erna (Starck) Roth. In 1944 she married George H. Pyle in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. She is survived by a daughter, Marna (William) Mateer of Goshen; a son, Harry (Fiona) Pyle of Bellevue, Washington; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents. A graduate of Rider University, Trenton, New Jersey, Mrs. Pyle moved to Goshen in June, coming from Orrville, Ohio. She was affiliated with the Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Smithville, Ohio. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing the piano and taught piano. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory.
