Lucille A. Kurtz

Lucille A. Kurtz, 73, of Elkhart died Monday, July 31, 2023 at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born February 18, 1950 in Goshen to Hubert C. and Goldie L. (Fissgus) Straw.

On July 18, 1970 she married Thomas P. Kurtz in Syracuse. He died November 17, 2020.

She is survived by four children, Tammy Grandstaff of Bristol, Susie Kurtz of Elkhart, Dan (Carrie) Kurtz of Logan, Iowa, and Michelle (Robert) West of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Kurtz was a loving homemaker and member of Jimtown Family Church of the Nazarene, Elkhart. She enjoyed singing and working on crossword puzzles.

Friends may call Friday, August 4, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.

Burial of her cremated remains will be in West Goshen cemetery at a later date.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the family to assist with final expenses.
