Lucile Sechrist

Lucile Sechrist, 100, of Goshen, died Sunday afternoon, March 5, 2006, at Americare of Goshen.   She was born December 13, 1905, in New Paris, Indiana, to Milo and Ermma (Fuller) Troup.  On April 13, 1934, in Elkhart, she married Vern Sechrist.  He died in April 1981.   A 1924 graduate of New Paris High School, Mrs. Sechrist, had worked as a secretary at Smoker Lumber for 25 years.  She was a member of the Jefferson Brethren Church.  She enjoyed gardening.   She is survived by a sister, Marie Waugaman of Goshen; a niece, Cindy (Lanny) Kistler and a nephew, Arlen (Shirley) Troup, both of Goshen.   She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers, Kenneth and Ralph Troup, and a sister, Ardis Troup.   Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 9, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   Pastor Ron Spyker of the Jefferson Brethren Church will officiate the 10:00 a.m. funeral service on Friday, March 10, 2006, at the funeral home.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be given to the Jefferson Brethren Church Building Fund
