Lowell D. Maust, of Goshen, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 21, 2024.
He was born on October 26, 1934, in Goshen to Edward and Emma (Kauffman) Maust.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Etta “Fern” (Stutzman) Maust. They were married on December 12, 1953, in Nappanee. Surviving children are Stephen (Vonda), Michael (Lisa), seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward and Robert, and four great-grandchildren.
Lowell was a member of Clinton Frame Church all his life where he served as a Trustee for many years and ran the soundboards for 30 years. He went on several short mission trips to Brownsville, Texas and Puerto Rico. He was mechanically minded and worked as a carpenter. He worked for Aurora Cabinet Company making countertops for 21 years and retired in 1998. Lowell loved photography, music, and most importantly spending time with his family and grandchildren.
The viewing will be held at Clinton Frame Church on May 2, 2024, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. The burial will immediately follow at Clinton Union Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Yoder-Culp Funeral home.
