Louise I. Yoder, 89, of Goshen passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born December 7, 1928 in Goshen to Harvey and Lydia Harshberger. On June 27, 1953 she married LeRoy N Yoder. He died May 23, 1998.
Louise is survived by two daughters, Diane (Denny) Miller of Elkhart and Kathy Coss of Goshen, three grandchildren, Lindy (Chad) Ellis of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, Sherri (Tim) Uhlmann of Huntingtown, Maryland and Carl Coss of Goshen, along with five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Leo Harshberger, Marion Harshberger, Ed Harshberger, Wilbur Harshberger, Glen Harshberger and three sisters Nellie Swoveland, Elsie Straw and Rosemary Vorhis.
Louise farmed alongside her husband for 31 years in Jefferson Township. She was a member of West Goshen Church of the Brethren. She compassionately held family, cooking and flower gardening very dear to her heart.
Friends may call Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, funeral will be conducted at West Goshen Church of the Brethren.
Burial will follow in Miller 8 Square Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorials may be given to West Goshen Church of the Brethren.
