Louis Edward Stevenson

Louis Edward Stevenson, 86, of Goshen, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born June 29, 1936 in Goshen.

On January 28, 1958, he married Elizabeth E. Phillips in Goshen.  She died May 17, 2017.

He is survived by three daughters, Cindy L. Dahm, Syracuse, Cathleen S. Stevenson, Goshen and Christina (William) Hibshman; two sons, Robert “Bobby” Stevenson, Silver Lake and Randy E. Stevenson, Goshen; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd R. Stevenson and Marian E. (Reed) Stevenson Lung and a sister, Norma J. Damron.

After serving 20 years with the U.S. Army, Mr. Stevenson worked at Johnson Controls as a press operator and at Weiland Design.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 10, from 11 to 1 p.m.  Military honors will be presented by the Goshen Honor Guard at 1 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be given to Wounded Warrior Project.
