Lottie B. Palmer, 87, of Goshen, died Sunday morning, July 2, 2006, at Goshen General Hospital. She was born in White Pigeon, Michigan, on October 16, 1918 to Frank and Belle (Wood) LaGro. On October 16, 1936, she married Glenn H. Palmer in LaGrange, Indiana. He survives. A resident of Goshen since 1947, she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Goshen, the Altrusa Club, and the National Secretaries Club. Mrs. Palmer served on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce, Walnut Hill Day Care Center and the Endowment Group of Goshen General Hospital. She was also a former member of the Lady Elks and Lady Moose Club. She, along with her husband, co-founded Goshen Die Cutting, Inc. in 1955. Mrs. Palmer is survived by her husband, Glenn; two daughters, Lorretta A. (Maurice) Miller of Goshen and Laura (Steven) Tracey of Munising, Michigan; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Louis LaGro of Goshen. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Burk and Grace Krise. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2006, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Rev. Alan Griffin of the First Presbyterian Church of Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, Goshen, or Goshen General Hospital Endowment Fund.
